A marketing tool for events is frequently promotional posters. These generally take several formats: those that can be distributed and also a version that can downloaded from a website or emailed out to a list of potential customers.
Friends decided they would like to demonstrate their vocal skills, so asked me to design the invitations and program for the recital. To make them personal I took photos of the vest and dress that were to be worn, and integrated these into the design.
This was an early attempt at a Facebook page using iFrames. Facebook has changed the way pages may be designed several times in the past year, so many pages have reverted to conventional “wall” pages.
As part of the concepts I offer to assist with marketing I created this leaflet to explain what QR codes are and what they can do. The leaflet also cites some creative examples of marketing uses.
I was asked to create some posters and postcards to promote a raffle for a Mini Cooper to raise funds for a choir tour. We took photos of the choristers with the car, then I used Photoshop to remove the background and add the text.
The Department of English at the University of Pennsylvania has a creative writing program. Every other year the program publishes a book of poetry and prose written by faculty and students.
This card and envelope design was created to celebrate an engagement. The sunflower reflected the decoration theme for the party, and utilized photos of sunflowers I had taken.
Annual Reports can be dry and dull, with pages of Times New Roman text. My goal is to lay the information out so it is readily understood, and interspersed with related graphics and images that add to the reader’s understanding of the material.
This was an invitation designed for a 50th birthday party. I shows important events that took place in the year of birth, along with images of the birthday girls on earlier birthdays.
The Philadelphia Theological Institute caters to a slightly older demographic, so although we have worked hard to persuade members to use the website, there was a demand for a flyer that presented the program of speakers for the year.
