As we spend so much more of our lives online we begin to accumulate a mass of photos and writing online. Some of the free blogging services have a cap on the amount of data you can store, so there comes a point when you can no longer add new material.
One solution is to turn your writing and photos into a book… but how?
With my typography experience I was able to turn the content from my blog about midlife into a book and published it. Midlife Rediscovery is now available from Amazon, and the Kindle version is also available.
I can help you collect your online material, lay it out and typeset it in a form ready to be printed. You can easily have your photos and text preserved for ever, and with print on demand publishing you can have additional copies printed whenever you wish- or if the content is of general interest, the books can be put for sale in online bookstores.
The book above records favorite family recipes and photos from the past 50 years, so my daughters can enjoy them in years to come.
It is also possible to create books or products using your photos and art work on them. Again there are specific image formats you need to provide to make this work, and I can help you with them. The book above and a notebook use a series of flower photos I took last summer.
I also created some Christmas artwork and added it a store on CafePress.com, where the art work is displayed on many different items. I plan to add additional items as I create art during the year.
